MIGRATION OF STAMPS - KURGAN

Servet Somuncuoğlu who has dedicated his life to tracking "Turks on Stones" has made one of the most important discoveries in Anatolian archeology with his book Migration of Stamps-Kurgan after two incredible works named Saymalıtaş Sky Atlas and Turks on Stone from Siberia to Anatolia. Proving that Turks have arrived in Anatolia way before Manzikert with this very special study, Somuncuoğlu reveals Turkish cave paintings and inscriptions on Güdül Mountain and its extensions between Güdül and Beypazarı in western Ankara with unique visual materials.


The work also presents the people of that period and their beliefs considered as a large asset and a documentary of the history of Anatolia with all aspects. Pictures presented in the works allow you to experience an exciting spirit of discovery.

As known, there are several traces of Turks on the mountains of Anatolia which are the most natural sites of "Sky God" religion in the pre-historic period. The cave paintings found in the Güdül Mountain area between Güdül and Beypazarı in Ankara reflect the richest aspect of history. Migration of the Stamps- Kurgan which is an elegant resource for the Turkish history opens to doors to a marvellous discovery. The work which presents the images selected from valuable visual materials is comprised of 14 main sections written in Turkish and English.
